Nursey decor

Ok, so since Jed and I aren't going to find out the gender of the baby, we have to figure out a decor for the nursery that will be gender neutral.  We have decided on an alphabet/number theme, here are my two favorite so far, opinions please!  We obviously won't be going as crazy with decorations as these two!

  1. Just my opinion, but I like the top one better. The bottom picture definitely looks more baby-ish, but I think the top one a little kid could grow in for awhile... But they are both super adorable! Either one would be a great pick!

  2. A couple of questions: 1. What color are the walls going to be? 2. Carpet color? Also, please tell your OB to call me with a gender so I can render a more "informed opinion."
Doug says you can't pick the top bed set as the crib needs a 4th side. I told him he's missing the point, but he was ADAMANT that I mention it.

  3. I like them both!!! Of course if you are talking about doing the closet in this theme it will be hard to do much! HA! Granny Bolen

  4. I'm not talking about the closet - I'm talking about the downstairs bedroom that will be the actual nursery!

Walls - we are just thinking a basic tan/light brown. The carpet is a brownish color. And sorry Maleia - my dr likes that I'm not finding out the gender, so I don't think she would share with you! I also found another one that I like that is alphabet and Dr. Seuss but I keep forgetting to post it!

  5. We vote Dr. Seuss. Grace definitely votes Dr. Seuss. I really like both above choices (the bottom is more versatile than the red-based top), but Dr. Seuss rocks....
